About Me
Hi, and welcome to my site!
My name is Zi Heng Xu, a Cornell University undergraduate junior majoring in Computer Science. I am also planning to minor in Applied Economics. I'm currently on a gap year to work as product manager for an NLP tech startup in Cambridge, Massachusetts. My anticipated graduation date is May 2021.
The Tech Startup I work at aims to create a data management solution capable of extracting relevant and valuable information from large collections of text documents. As a product manager, I participate in the initiation, planning, execution, and the supervision of work to ensure that specific goals are achieved. In my spare time, I like to play the piano and draw. Please visit my art page to see some examples. I also have a YouTube channel. My favourite pasttime are reading non-fiction and dining at nearby restaurants. The easiest way to spot me is to look for a person wearing a burgundy sweater and khaki trousers near Kendall Square.
Finally, a little about myself. Some time in the 20th Century, I was born in Beijing, China, where I grew up. However, I am a dual citizen of Australia, where I spent some of my childhood, and of Hong Kong, where I mainly reside during breaks from college, which I go to in the US. During my time in Ithaca, New York, I became an expert winter survivalist. I speak both Chinese and English at a native level, and conversationl Japanese.
